金継ぎ
フィリピン人、ベトナム人、韓国人、インド人などアジア圏でシスターになることを希望する若い人たち（残念ながら日本人はいない）の養成のための修練院がフィリピンにある。そこの修練長でアメリカ人のシスターが数日、日本に来られた。修練院の現状を簡単に紹介してくださった。
その折に、養成は金継ぎのようなものだと話された。米寿を迎える私は、今も、人生によって養成されている実感がある。それを「金継ぎ」の過程に喩えるとピンとくる。私の感想を知ったシスターが、「金継ぎで有名な歌がある」と知らせてくださった。Peter Mayer という歌手（有名らしい）が "Japanese Bowls"というタイトルで歌っている。youtube で、美しい画像付きで聞くことができる。 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOAzobTIGr8
